Service Advisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our independent garage team. The Service Advisor acts as a liaison between customers and our technicians, providing expert guidance on vehicle repairs and services, ensuring customer satisfaction, and managing repair orders efficiently.

 Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly and professionally, understanding their vehicle needs

  • Listen to and clarify customer concerns and service requirements

  • Prepare and explain detailed estimates for repairs and maintenance

  • Communicate effectively with technicians regarding service instructions and timelines

  • Keep customers informed about repair progress and any additional findings

  • Offer additional services or maintenance based on vehicle needs and manufacturer recommendations

  • Review and approve repair orders prior to service completion

  • Ensure all documentation, estimates, and work orders are accurate and complete

  • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction

  • Maintain excellent customer service standards and foster long-term relationships

  • Keep the Customer area organized and tidy

  • Stay current with automotive technology, service procedures, and industry best practices

 Qualifications:

  •  Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer service role, preferably in an automotive environment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to explain technical information clearly and understandably

  • Good organizational and time-management skills

  • Knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures is a plus

  • High level of professionalism and customer-focused attitude

  • Proficiency with automotive management software is desirable

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5 pm
